Risk Disclosure

Last updated: July 2026

Read this before you trade

Launching and trading tokens on Unstable Lunch involves significant risk. This page explains the main ones in plain terms. If any of it is unclear, do not proceed.

You can lose everything

Tokens launched here are highly volatile and can lose all of their value quickly. You may lose the entire amount you put in. Only commit funds you can afford to lose completely.

Non-custodial and irreversible

You control your own wallet and keys, and every transaction you sign is final. Transactions on the blockchain cannot be reversed, cancelled, or refunded — including funds sent to the wrong place.

Smart contract risk

The launchpad runs on non-upgradeable smart contracts. They have been built and reviewed with care, but no software is free of risk. Bugs, exploits, or unexpected interactions could result in loss of funds.

Tokens are permissionless — we don't vet them

Anyone can launch a token, and its name, image, and description are chosen by its creator. We do not create, endorse, verify, or guarantee any token. Tokens may be abandoned by their creators, misleading, or created to defraud buyers. A token appearing in the interface is not a recommendation.

Locked liquidity does not prevent losses

Each token's liquidity is locked, which stops the creator from pulling it. It does not stop the price from falling — a token's price can still go to zero as people sell.

The first-hour cap is a speed bump

For the first hour after launch, no wallet can hold more than 2% of supply. This slows snipers but is not foolproof — it can be worked around by splitting across multiple wallets.

Fees are non-refundable

Swap fees, any launch fee, and any community-takeover (CTO) request fee are non-refundable. A CTO request fee does not guarantee approval.

Regulation and taxes are your responsibility

The legal and tax treatment of crypto assets varies by jurisdiction and can change. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and for any taxes you owe.

No advice

Unstable Lunch provides tools, not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Nothing in the interface is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
